Troubleshooting guide

Clear answers.
Fewer retries.

Use these short answers when a code expires, a scan fails, or the counter looks different after a deployment.

01Why did my pairing request fail?
Use a full international number with its country code. Kenyan local numbers beginning with 0 are also accepted, and formatting is normalized automatically.
02What if the pairing code expires?
Return to Pairing Code, submit the number again, and enter the newest code in WhatsApp under Linked Devices.
03Why will the QR code not scan?
Choose New QR code, keep the whole image visible, raise screen brightness, and scan from WhatsApp’s Linked Devices → Link a Device screen.
04Which number formats are accepted?
All countries are supported with a country code, such as +14155552671. Kenyan inputs may also be +254111687009, 254111687009, or 0111687009.
05Why can the session count change?
The counter measures generated sessions, not active devices. When MongoDB is connected, totals persist between deployments.
